Three Online Wish Lists for Easier Holiday Shopping
Every year my husband tells me I’m so hard to buy for. Never mind the hundreds of hints I’ve dropped. In order to make it easier than hints, I’ve started making online wish lists.
Universal wish lists allow you to gather items from any store online and put them into one or more lists. You can create a birthday wish list, a holiday wish list, a book wish list, a someday wish list and any other wish list you’d like.
This year I am going to create a wish list for each of my kids and send the list to the grandparents when they ask for birthday ideas. These lists would also work well for a baby or wedding registry especially if you have items you want to put on the list from many different stores.
Kaboodle
Kaboodle is one of the more popular wish lists. You add a Kaboodle button to your browser. When you find an item at a store online that you want to add to a list, you click on the Kaboodle button. The hardest part is deciding which list to put it on. Share your list with anyone, put it on Facebook and connect with othe friends on Kaboodle.
Boxedup
Boxedup works the same was as Kaboodle. You add a boxedup button to your browser, go shopping, click the “Add to boxedup” button and add to your list. One feature I like about boxedup is the ability to add a widget to your blog showcasing some of your wishes.
Wishpot
The last of my favorite wish lists is Wishpot. Wishpot has several features that make it stand out from the other two. When shopping online in your browser, you add items by clicking on the Wishpot button you install in your browser. When you are shopping at a brick and mortar store, you can send an email to add items to your Wishpot list. Include a picture and the UPC code and the pricing information will be added also.
Either one of these three services will help you create your online wish list. It’s also a fun way to save all those things you find on the internet that you wish someday you can have. I like to keep a dream list.
Do you use an online wishlist? How do you let your friends and family know what you would like?
