Are You Ready For Some Football

It’s that time of the year again.

Football season brings out some of the best, and tastiest food. Whether you’re tailgating, or gathered together at home, the food plays an important role.

Confession… I don’t know much about football. Food on the other had… that’s my thing. Simplicity and great taste are key when it comes to feeding a crowd. Fans want food that’s easy to pick up, and eat with their hands. A no fuss kind of spread.

My top ten football fare includes:

  1. Meatballs
  2. Chicken wings
  3. Turkey legs – Going to a football game, a smoked turkey leg is a must.
  4. Sliders
  5. Hoagie sandwiches
  6. Cheese dip
  7. Spinach dip My friend makes this exact recipe, and I always eat too much. It’s delicious!
  8. Potato salad
  9. Pasta salad
  10. Guacamole I make a mean guac, with ripe avocados, red onion, black olives, and the perfect amount of garlic power, season salt, and lemon juice. I can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And I have, not a good idea!

When you tailgate, or invite friends over for a big game what do you serve?
