Inspired by my love of travel and my current quest to find travel-themed cupcakes in every city that The Passport Party Project visits, I thought it would be fun to create a photo gallery of some super creative travel-themed sweets.
Besides the fact that I’m a sucker for sweets (my trainer will attest to that), I love a party with a decorated cake or cupcakes and thought it would be fun to use this space to share two of the things that I love so much.
So without further ado, enjoy the sweetest trip around the world you might ever take. We’re going to Africa, India, Paris (bien sûr!), the Caribbean & Polynesian Islands and Asia. (Now grab yourself a napkin for the drool.)

Those are amazing! Love the colorful cookies from India and the luggage/camera cake. Very cool!
This was a hard post to put together, Shelley! I worked on it for 3 days (a little obsessive, I know.) Soooo many choices and SUCH creative dessert makers. The henna-inspired cookies from India were awesome. Not sure I would want to cut into those luggage cakes (or ANY of them for that matter)…but if you twisted my arm…. (P.S. Thanks for taking that shot of the cupcakes at The Austin Passport Party…great shot!)

Thanks for your comment, Jessica! I could eat my lunch, your lunch and your BFF’s lunch and STILL have time to eat a sweet (a problem for sure)…but I’d rather take a real life RTW journey over a box of cupcakes any day (um, kinda).

I wish I could say I had one favorite. The luggage and cupcakes are amazing! But the palm trees made of bananas (the healthy option)-that’s within my creative grasp!
