I have friends since grade school, media friends, sister-friends, partner friends, running-buddy friends, entrepreneurial friends, movie friends, career mentors, “big sis” friends, counseling friends, writing friends, silly friends, mommy friends, cheerleader friends, book friends and really cool facebook friends – but we all have one thing in common: We all value God, Family and our Work.

I hate fake. I hate blog snobs even more. Oh, the one's here on Blogalicious love comments, chatter and interacting with everyone. Matter of fact, we take it offline to a conference. I'd love to meet you Face to Face (especially if we are Facebook 'friends'). Me and Lashanda Henry are doing a Breakout session talking about Blogs and how to turn your hobby into income.

Friends don't compete. Just think if Gayle wanted to "compete" with Oprah - instead of being her friend? What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. Karen is authentic, open and honest - we click. If we do have a disagreement - just like sisters - we can talk about it openly and work it out. Never do we harbor ill feelings. People who are secure in themselves are not afraid to see BIG destiny unfold for their friends. Karen, thank you - and just know I would like either a Rolls Royce or Bentley. You can pick the color. I value your opinion. I see you going there my sista and I'm with you.

Life took us in different directions and I don’t regret our path but I wonder how much a part of our lives they would have been had we remained in the same geographical area. I have no doubt that we would have continued to be close, and they would have been an integral part of my family’s life.

It’s a good thing Oprah is in her last season of her talk show. Because if she has taped another season her ratings would have plummeted and she’d quickly be put off the air by a brand new talk show. This weekend I attended what is slated to be the number one talk show on TV...MamaLaw, The Show!

'm moving into a place of security, confidence and acceptance. I finally feel like I really belong. I'm a blogger, dammit. And I have friends.
