Still standing! Me and Hubby celebrated 17 years of marriage on March 23. Wow. A lot has changed in 17 years. Some things remind me how LONGGGGGG we've been together. Why has our marriage worked: 1. We really LOVE each other.... (I am crazy about Marc Perry - I am still starry-eyed in love) 2. We really LIKE each other. There is no one in the world I'd rather spend time with. He is my best friend. (And he's cute). 3. We would do anything for each other. I cook, clean and wash his underwear - whatever and he is always there for me. Marc is my protector, my hero, my superman.

Mr. Incredible gave up his weekend football game and agreed to take me out. I'm so happy we finally got a chance to spend some time alone. This date was long overdue.

I'm not one of those women who pretends that her marriage is perfect. I love my husband; but he gets on my nerves sometimes. And I realize that I'm probably the most aggravating, spoiled, hard-to-get along with wives God ever created.

I have thrown a complete and utter hissy fit. You've never seen a temper tantrum this big. My computer crashed and I was flabbergasted.

For my birthday last year Mr. Incredible bought me a Kodak zi8. I immediately fell in love with my camera and quickly learned all the bells and whistles.

The kids had an awesome time. They played in the ocean, swam in the pool, floated on the lazy river, shot each other with water guns and had an absolute blast. Mr. Incredible was able to relax, sleep late, watch hours of TV and just chill.

The Husband and I recently celebrated ten years of wedded bliss. We could not take a big long vacation, but a one night getaway was definitely in order.

an honestly say now that I enjoyed my time as an unmarried professional woman--my life was mine, as was my money, my time, my sleep, my food...However, I spent many of those seven years wondering if I would ever meet the right guy and live happily ever after.

It was difficult for me to recognize normal male behavior once The Husband and I got married and began living together. Nevertheless, I still refer to The Husband whenever I am flummoxed by something one of our sons has done!
