Having been a parent for over 10 years I’ve spent my fair share of time in the pediatrician’s office. There have been good visits. And there have been visits that have ruined my entire day. Looking back on these appointments I realize there are better decisions I could have made that would have improved my children’s experiences. Below are a few hints that will help you and your baby have a better, brighter doctor’s visit.

When my children were younger, hanging out in the backyard, skipping rocks in a nearby pond, or swinging in the park was the best time ever. Now that they're older, it's more of a challenge to keep them entertained during summer vacation. Each of my children have their individual idea of fun, and what's boring.
